Gold Coast Roof Repairs is a local roofing business built around one idea: most roofs do not need replacing, they need someone to find out what is actually wrong. Who We Are
We are roofers, not a call centre passing work to whoever is available. The person who inspects your roof is the person who explains what they found, and the work is carried out by tradespeople who do this every day on Gold Coast housing specifically.
That local focus matters more in roofing than in most trades. A roof at Burleigh Heads and a roof at Nerang of identical age and identical construction will be in different condition, because one has been sitting in salt air and the other has been taking heavier hail. Knowing which failure to expect before you get on the roof is the difference between a diagnosis and a guess.
How We Work
Every job starts with a proper inspection, including the roof cavity where access allows. Leaks in particular are rarely where the stain is, and the only way to fix one permanently is to trace it back to where the water is genuinely entering.
We photograph what we find and show you. Roofs are the one part of a house homeowners never see, which makes them easy to exaggerate about, and a photograph of your own failed valley is worth more than any description we could give you.
We repair the defect rather than covering it. The most common piece of substandard work we come across on this coast is fresh pointing smeared over bedding that has already crumbled underneath. It looks correct for a season, then moves again, and the homeowner pays twice.
We give real prices. Every service page on this site carries indicative ranges including GST, because “contact us for a quote” is a way of avoiding the question. A firm figure still comes after inspection, but you should know the order of magnitude before you pick up the phone.
What We Will Tell You
If a repair is not the right answer, we will say so. If your roof has reached the point where restoration makes better financial sense than another patch, we will explain why. If the substrate has gone and the honest answer is a replacement, we will tell you that too, even though it is not work we are quoting for on this page.
The reverse applies just as often. Where someone has told a homeowner their roof needs replacing and what it actually needs is a valley iron and a day’s work, we will say that as well.
Licensed Work
Roofing work above the statutory threshold in Queensland must be carried out by a licensed contractor, and roof tiling and roof plumbing sit in separate licence classes. Our licence number appears on every quote, and any Queensland licence can be verified free by anyone on the public register maintained by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
